The horse must be on a flat surface so that the morphology does not change. With a total of four photographs, it is enough to take the entire anatomy: in profile, both right and left, from the front and from behind.

The glasses

This is the horn plates that are specific both in size and shape for each animal. They are located on the inside of the hock or tarsus and also on the forearm, about 10 centimeters above the carpus. Glasses are defined after one year of age, they are like human fingerprints.

Swirls and spikes

They form in the hair and remain throughout life in the same location, position and shape. The eddy is always in a circular shape and the spike in a linear shape. And no matter how much you brush or cut it, it will always be in the same position. The forehead, central part of the meeting, ventral part of the neck, lateral part under the mane and in the region of the larynx are the most common areas. The spikes can be found in the region of the flanks.
